Explore How to Work Together

You’re not here because everything is fine.

You're here because something is running you, and you've finally stopped pretending you don't notice.

Something small sets you off and you're overwhelmed for hours. You promise yourself next time will be different and find yourself doing the exact same thing. You pull away when things get close. You overthink what you said three days ago. You manage yourself just to stay okay.

You've thought about it. Talked about it. Read about it. You've had moments where it clicked.

But when it actually matters, when you're triggered, hurt, in a real moment with someone, whatever you understood disappears.

So you end up in this exhausting place where part of you can see what's happening, and another part of you can't seem to stop it.

The same reactions. The same patterns. The same moments landing harder than they should.

And after a while, you start wondering what the hell is wrong with you, why you can't just move on, and why this still has so much power over you.

Maybe you feel too much — and don't understand it. Maybe you understand a lot — and still can't change it. Either way, something in your life is still running you.

You can keep pushing through. Staying busy. Staying numb. Staying in control. Telling yourself it isn't that bad.

But at some point, you have to admit it isn't changing anything.

You’re here because the cost of staying the same is too high, and you’re looking for a way out.

Working Together

Working with me is less about being coached and more about seeing clearly

We slow things down and look at what is actually true.

  • Understanding your patterns in simple, practical language

  • Seeing what's happening in your body instead of escaping into your head

  • Noticing when you drift into old stories, old defenses, or the need to stay in control

  • Coming back to what’s true, again and again

This work is about looking at what’s there and being willing to stand in the mess long enough for something real to change.

About Darren

I’ve spent the last 20 years trying to understand how people work, not just in theory, but through my own life, healing, and experience. What I found is that most people aren’t broken, they’re stuck in patterns they don’t fully see and trying to heal through language that often makes things more confusing than it needs to be. My work is about making that process simpler, clearer, and more human so people can understand themselves, find their footing, and move forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • This is coaching, but it’s not traditional coaching.

I see my role less as a traditional coach and more as a guide. I help you audit your current location and orient you when you feel unsure who or what to trust.

It is Not Therapy. I’m not a psychologist or licensed therapist, and I don’t diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

What I offer is one on one coaching focused on awareness, emotional maturity, and pattern recognition. Rather than giving strategies, advice, or performance goals, the work centers on helping you see what’s actually happening internally and relationally, and learning to stay honest and present with that.

You could think of it as coaching with depth. The emphasis isn’t on fixing you or pushing outcomes. It’s on clarity, self trust, and learning how to listen to your own internal signals more accurately.

The aim is not to replace therapy or turn you into a “better version” of yourself. It’s to help you become more grounded, more discerning, and more capable of navigating your life without outsourcing your authority to others.

  • I work with people who have at least a spark of self-awareness and a genuine willingness to look at what's actually there.

You don't need to be advanced or have everything figured out. What matters is that you can reflect a little, talk honestly about your life and experiences, and are willing to feel what comes up instead of thinking your way around it.

I'm not here to force anything. But if you're ready to stop circling and actually look in the mirror, I'll meet you there.

  • This is not therapy, and it’s not a replacement for mental health treatment.

If you are dealing with a serious mental health condition such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, or anything that requires clinical care, this is not appropriate for you.

It’s also not a good fit if you are currently in crisis, experiencing severe depression, suicidal thoughts, or are not emotionally stabilized. In those situations, working with a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, or crisis support is the right move, and I would not want to do harm by stepping into that role.

This is also not for people who want quick fixes, constant reassurance, or someone to tell them what to do. The work requires honesty, personal responsibility, and a willingness to feel what’s actually there.

My priority is doing no harm and pointing people toward the kind of support that will actually help them.

  • Sessions are open conversations focused on noticing patterns, sensations, intuition, and what’s happening for you right here and now. We don’t dive into long backstory or diagnose you — we explore what’s showing up in your life in real time and help you see it more clearly.

We pay attention to how things feel in your body, what your instincts are signaling, and how your patterns are showing up in relationships, decisions, and emotional responses. Some sessions are somatic, some are reflective, and some involve practical discussion — always guided by what you bring and what you need in the moment.

  • No. The work isn’t about making decisions for you. It’s about helping you see what’s actually there and empowering you to make decisions that feel right for you.

Sometimes we talk about small shifts or ways to practice listening to your own instincts, but this isn’t a directive or prescriptive process. It’s about strengthening your own clarity, your confidence in your judgment, and your trust in your intuition.

  • Yes. In fact, I often encourage it when the therapist is a good fit. This work is complementary and meant to support your broader healing, not replace clinical care.

I see myself as a trusted check-in, someone you can talk to when you’re unsure, stuck, or want honest reflection and perspective. Many people use this work alongside therapy or other coaching. Some use it to gain clarity about their current support and whether it’s helping them in a meaningful way. You can reach out whenever you need a fresh perspective or orientation — even months or years later.
